We bought a condo! Here are some pictures before we move in.

On Wednesday we held a final cruise for my grandpa as part of his funeral procession. I'm sure he was above us laughing when his car wouldn't start when it was time to start the procession.

Fannie is our shitzu poodle. shit-poo. She is an only dog, and so she gets her own photo album. Love me, love my poodle.

This is an album of my 30th birthday weekend. Hooray!

In June we made it to the first demolition derby of the season. Next one is July 23rd. Where will you be?

I've been walking dogs for the past few weeks. Dogs may be my favorite photo subjects to date. Especially dogs I know. I could look at these pictures all day and tell you all about the little dudes and ladies. Like how Guy so much resembles an old man that his little mouth moves like he's lost his dentures. And how Leelu is the type of dog who runs and gets her leash when you open the door. And how I almost cried the first time I opened the door and saw Peetey. It was like my tenth birthday when my dad opened the garage door and surprised me with a ten speed. I can't believe I get paid for this.

I just spent an hour driving through a moment in time of Chicago's Englewood with Google's new Streetview feature. It must've been a beautiful day that day because everyone and everyone was out on their porches. We don't have much of a porch culture in our world. I'd bet these peeps even know who their neighbors are.

We're growing dill and basil in a window box. I mean, technically there's more basil than dill, but.... I like dill a lot. And it's very photogenic. My how our babies grow so quickly.

We went to the dog beach today in anticipation of our new baby. The dog beach is another one of the happiest places on earth.

We went to New York for a few days. Here are 300 of the 500 photos we took. Man, I don't think we ever stayed still. Strangely enough, there are absolutely no photos of Justin or Chris Johnson. Boo. Okay, this album's big and the slideshow feature doesn't seem to be working right tonight. Sorry.

This Saturday Josh let me tag along in his quest for the modern American dream. It was a totally fun day. I'm feeling envious and excited for him. My imaginiation is spinning. I either need to start selling homes or buying them. Hooray, Stringbot! I don't think you can go wrong with any of these.

Eat some, it's good for you! While most of the city was hiding from it, Zach and I were covered in it. Hooray for making the most of winter. Hooray for friends who are willing to do that with you! Zach feels like a weenie for forgetting to stop playing and take pictures of me playing, but I don't mind. Whatever. I'm pretty sure I was there. Weenie.

Maybe I'm a monster jam elitist, but Allstate Arena is not the Silverdome. The dragonator is not truckasaurus. But it was still pretty great. Thanks to Kelli for taking these photos. If there's ever a time you don't want your camera batteries to die it's at monster trucks.

With two days left in 2004 we went to see our friend John Dugan play with his new band The Tax. This was a first date with my new camera, and although I played everything by ear, I think things went okay as far as a first date goes. Do you think it's too soon to call myself?
